Buckeye Surgery Center

This project was a 5,700 SF build-out in a new 7,500SF shell building turned over to us with the slab left out allowing us to do our underground plumbing and electrical work without having to sawcut and demo an existing slab. We used a 15mil vapor barrier to address any future water vapor issues. This was a two OR ASC project for an ophthalmology practice that also provides FEMTO-LASIK and YAG procedures. The Patient Pre/Post Op area has 8 patient bays with privacy curtains and a large MA/Nurses station.

The build-out included  Sterilization and Decontamination Rooms with a steam washer and two sterilizers. A 50 kVA diesel generator was installed in an exterior enclosure along with an air cooled chiller. The generator supports three Emergency Distribution Panels, one for life safety, one for equipment and the other is a Critical Branch that supports two Isolation panels, one in each OR, that provides lighting and power inside the two ORs.
